"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net thrown into the sea, which collects fish of every kind. When it is full they haul it ashore and sit down to put what is good into buckets. What is bad they throw away." - Matthew 13:47-48
Revelation
God sees everything, and at the right time, He separates what is true from what is false, what is holy from what is harmful. A sorting happens — the good are kept, the bad are thrown away. Your faith, your love for Jesus, your desire to walk in truth — these are the “good fish” the Lord treasures.
Reflection
God continues to gather us, teach us, and shapes us. We must treasure both Scripture and the fresh movements of grace in our lives. The sorting is not only at the end of the age — it happens in the quiet moments when God invites us to choose what is good, loving, and true.
What needs to be thrown away? Habits, thoughts, or wounds that pull you away from God. Not with fear, but with courage and humility.

Lord Jesus,
You cast Your net across the sea of humanity, gathering hearts from every shore. Gather me again today. Take what is good in me — my faith, my hope, my desire to follow You — and place it gently into Your vessels of grace. Cast away what is not of You: my fears, my doubts, my hidden sins, anything that keeps me from living in Your light. Make me a scribe of Your Kingdom, treasuring both the old truths of Scripture and the new inspirations You place in my heart. When the angels come to sort the catch, may I be found in Your hands, kept for the Kingdom, forever Yours.
