The Lord lifts up all who are falling
and raises up all who are bowed down.
(Psalm 145:14)
God does not turn away from weakness; instead, He stoops down to lift the weary. Every fall becomes an opportunity for grace, and every bowed head is raised by His compassion. The Lord’s strength is not shown in domination but in restoration—He is the God who upholds the humble and restores the broken.
When life presses us down, we often feel unseen or forgotten. Yet God reminds us that His eyes are always on those who struggle. He lifts us—not only physically but spiritually—restoring dignity, hope, and peace. To be “bowed down” is not defeat; it is the posture of surrender where God’s hands can reach us. In every trial, His Word becomes the lamp that shows the next step, and His love becomes the strength that helps us rise again.
Lord Jesus, You are the lifter of the fallen and the comforter of the bowed down. When my spirit grows weary, raise me by Your mercy. When my heart trembles, steady me with Your Word. Teach me to trust Your hands that never fail, and to walk humbly in the light of Your love. May Your grace restore what is broken within me, and may my life proclaim Your compassion to all who fall.
