Peace in Jesus

Gospel
John 16:29-33

Reading

"I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” (John 16:33)

Revelation

Faith is not merely hearing but believing that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is your Lord and Savior. Through Him alone, you are connected to the Father. His peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of divine assurance amid it. Though the world brings trials, the victory of Christ over sin and death secures your peace forever.

Reflection

Trouble is inevitable in this world, yet Jesus has conquered it. The enemy may stir confusion and fear, but the peace of Christ reigns in hearts that trust Him. When you face uncertainty, remember that your courage comes from knowing the Lord walks before you. His peace guards your heart and mind, transforming anxiety into steadfast faith. Believe that your prayers are not forgotten — they are answered in His perfect time and way.

Response

Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer,

Thank You for hearing my prayers and answering them in ways beyond my understanding.
Help me to believe fully in You — the One who connects me to the Father and fills my soul with peace.

When troubles arise, remind me that You have already conquered the world. Let Your peace reign in my heart and mind, guiding me through every storm. I take courage in Your victory and rest in Your unfailing love.

Amen.
