Gospel
John 15:26–16:4
Reading
“I have told you this so that you may not fall away. They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God. They will do this because they have not known either the Father or me." (John 16:1-3)
Revelation
The Lord is reminding you that His truth is your compass and His presence is your strength. He prepares you not by removing challenges, but by equipping your heart to face them with courage, clarity, and faith.
You are not walking into uncertainty alone—God Himself goes before you, and His love forms a shield around your life. He calls you to trust His wisdom, to follow His word, and to remember that nothing—no trial, no fear, no circumstance—can separate you from His love.
Reflection
There are moments when life feels unpredictable, and the path ahead seems heavy. Yet in these moments, the Lord whispers, “Be prepared, for I am with you.”
Your desire to follow His word is already a sign of His grace working within you. You recognize that God has always been there—guiding, protecting, strengthening, and lifting you up. This awareness is not accidental; it is the fruit of a heart that listens to God. And because He loves you, He will never allow you to face anything without His power sustaining you.
Let this truth settle deeply: You are held. You are guided. You are loved. And you are prepared because God Himself prepares you.
Response
Lord Jesus,
Today I come before You with a heart that desires to follow Your truth. You have spoken to me, reminding me to prepare for the challenges ahead, not with fear, but with confidence in Your unfailing love.
You alone know what is best for me. You see the path I cannot see, and You strengthen me in ways I do not always understand. Thank You for being my constant companion, for never leaving me, and for assuring me that nothing can ever separate me from Your love.
Teach me to walk in obedience, to trust Your word above my own understanding, and to stand firm when life becomes difficult. Let Your truth be the light that guides my steps, and Your presence be the peace that guards my heart. Prepare me, Lord— prepare my mind with wisdom, prepare my spirit with courage, prepare my heart with faith. I surrender every worry, every fear, every uncertainty into Your hands.
Jesus, You are my strength, my refuge, and my hope. Lead me, and I will follow. Stay with me, and I will never be shaken. Your love is my assurance, and in You, I am forever secure.
Amen.
