Fear Not - You are Worth More than you Think

Gospel
Matthew 10:24-33

Reading

"Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:31)

Revelation

The Lord reveals today that fear blinds you to your true worth, but His Word restores your identity. In a world that measures value by achievement, status, or acceptance, Jesus anchors your worth in the Father’s gaze.

He reminds you that nothing about you is unnoticed, nothing about you is accidental, and nothing about you is forgotten — your struggles, sacrifices, and silent prayers are seen by God.

Fear whispers lies: “You are small, forgotten, insignificant.” But Jesus declares truth: “You are precious, protected, and deeply known.” This is the revelation: Your worth is not determined by fear — it is determined by the Father’s love.

Reflection

Where does fear touch your life today? Is it fear of rejection, failure, criticism, or uncertainty?
Jesus invites you to step out of fear and into truth that fear of people fades when you remember that only God holds your soul, fear of tomorrow dissolves when you trust the Father, and fear of inadequacy breaks when you realize your worth is rooted in Christ, not in human approval.

Today, let your heart rest in this promise: You are worth more than you think — because God Himself thinks of you. Let courage rise. Let faith speak. Let your life confess Christ boldly, lovingly, and without shame. For the One who sees you will also acknowledge you before the Father.

Response

Lord Jesus,

You who calm every fear and lift every burden, I come before You with a heart that longs for Your peace. Speak again Your words of courage: “Fear not.”

Remind me that I am precious in the Father’s eyes, that every detail of my life is known to You, and that Your love defines my worth. Break the lies of fear that diminish my confidence, and replace them with the truth of Your care. Teach me to trust You more deeply, to walk boldly in faith, and to confess You without hesitation. May my life reflect Your courage, my words proclaim Your truth, and my heart rest securely in Your love. Jesus, my Savior, I surrender my fears to You. Strengthen me, guide me, and hold me close.

Amen.
