Matthew 24:42-51

“Who, then, is the faithful and prudent servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household to distribute to them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing so. Amen, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property. (Matthew 24:45-47)
Revelation
The Lord has put you in charge of all His property. Be faithful and prudent in all works at hand, remembering that you are just a servant and not the true owner. As such, all works must be done and accomplished at the proper time without any delay. Always be vigilant in everything you do so that you will not be caught flatfooted. Blessings come when you least expect it.
Reflection
Everything entrusted to you—your work, your responsibilities, your relationships, your time—is not truly yours, but God’s. You are a steward, not the owner. That truth brings both freedom and responsibility. Freedom, because you don’t carry the burden alone. Responsibility, because faithfulness means doing things at the right time, with the right heart.
The call to be vigilant is a reminder that spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. Blessings often come quietly, unexpectedly, and only those who are awake in spirit recognize them. God’s timing is perfect, and He asks you to be ready—steady, disciplined, and attentive.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You have entrusted me with works, duties, and blessings that come from Your hand. Teach me to be faithful and prudent in everything I do. Let me remember always that I am Your servant, and that all I have belongs to You.
Strengthen my heart so I may act at the proper time, without delay, without hesitation, and without fear. Make me vigilant in spirit, so I will not be caught unprepared when Your grace arrives. Let Your unexpected blessings find me working, trusting, and obeying. May every task I do today be done for Your glory, with humility, diligence, and love.
