People judge the level of your competence but with God, you can do even more greater things. It is not in degree of education that comes from man but it is all about the wisdom that the Holy Spirit gives that made you who you are and what you are today. Rejecting a person, proposal or matter at hand is not always wrong or bad depending on a given situation.
Reflection
Human judgment is often shallow, based on appearances or expectations. But God’s wisdom digs deeper. It reveals strengths that others overlook, and it empowers you to accomplish things far beyond your natural capacity. What you are today is not the result of human approval—it is the result of God’s grace working quietly and powerfully within you.
The wisdom that shapes your life in Christ does not come from human institutions; it comes from the Holy Spirit who has been forming your character, sharpening your discernment, and guiding your steps long before anyone noticed your abilities.
And sometimes, that same wisdom leads you to say no. Rejecting a person, proposal, or situation is not always an act of pride or stubbornness. It can be an act of obedience. God may close a door because He sees danger ahead. He may lead you away from something because He is preparing something better. Discernment is part of His gift to you, and choosing wisely—even when misunderstood—is part of walking in His wisdom.
Your competence is not measured by the world. It is measured by your willingness to follow God’s leading, even when it requires courage, restraint, or refusal. In His hands, your decisions—yes or no—become instruments of purpose.

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for reminding me that true wisdom comes from You alone. People may judge my abilities by what they see, but You know the deeper work You are doing in my life. You formed me, taught me, and strengthened me through the Holy Spirit. Everything I am today is because of Your grace.
Give me clarity to recognize Your voice and courage to follow Your direction. When I must say no, let it be out of obedience, not fear. When I must say yes, let it be with faith and confidence in Your plan. Guard my heart from relying on human approval, and anchor my identity in Your truth. Fill me with discernment, Lord, so that every decision I make reflects Your wisdom. Help me walk in humility, strength, and trust, knowing that You are shaping my path. May my life honor You in all things.
