Gospel
John 11:19-27
Reading
“I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and anyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” - John 11:25-26
Revelation
Jesus has raised you up to a new life in Him! You no longer live for yourself but for the One who loves you so much, giving up His very own life in the world so that you may live a life that is full of enjoyment, peace, and comfort. Truly, life is a journey of ups and downs. There are times when you see yourself enjoying a cruise on a very smooth road and then all of a sudden find yourself climbing up a mountain on a very rough terrain. What is imperative is that you believe that God is with You all the way, guding and directing your steps towards the true path of life that He has predestined for you.
Reflection
Though challenges and trials come, they are never faced alone. The smooth roads remind us of His blessings, while the rough terrains strengthen our faith and dependence on Him. Every step is guided by His loving hand, and every detour is part of His perfect plan. To live for Jesus is to embrace both joy and struggle with confidence, knowing He has already secured victory and peace for us.
Response
Lord Jesus Christ,
You have raised me to new life in You. No longer do I live for myself, but for You—the One who gave everything so that I may walk in freedom, joy, and peace. When the road is smooth, let me be grateful. When the path is rough, let me be steadfast, trusting that You are guiding my steps. Teach me to see every moment as part of Your divine plan, and to rest in the comfort of Your presence. May my life reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name, now and forever!
Amen.
