Revelation
The truth is you are good for nothing without the Lord. In eveything that you do, it is the Lord who seasons and adds flavor to your life. Instead of being no good on anything, be the Lord's light of good works that will truly being glory to His Name. Always allow the Spirit of the Lord to work and enhance your life. Any work inspired by the Spirit of the Lord, even how difficult it may be, will always bring gladness and satisfaction.
Reflection
There is a quiet but powerful truth in the spiritual life: without the Lord, we lose our flavor.
Just as salt without taste becomes useless, a life disconnected from Christ becomes dull, directionless, and easily discouraged. But when the Lord seasons your life—when His grace touches your thoughts, your work, your relationships—everything gains meaning, depth, and purpose.
To “be the spice of life for the Lord” means allowing His presence to enrich your character, your decisions, and your daily actions. It means letting His Spirit refine your motives, purify your intentions, and strengthen your resolve. When the Spirit works within you, even the most difficult tasks become bearable, even joyful, because they are done with Him, through Him, and for Him.
Your good works are not meant to glorify you—they are meant to shine like a lamp on a stand, pointing others to the goodness of God. When you choose kindness over anger, patience over frustration, generosity over selfishness, you become a living testimony of God’s grace. You become His light in a world that often prefers shadows.
Today, let the Lord season your heart again. Let the Holy Spirit enhance your life with wisdom, courage, and joy. Let your actions bring glory to His Name.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the One who gives flavor to my life. Without You, I am nothing—but with You, everything becomes meaningful, beautiful, and full of purpose. Season my heart with Your grace. Let Your Spirit enrich my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Make me the spice of life that brings hope, encouragement, and goodness to others. Let my works shine with Your light, not for my glory, but for Yours alone. Strengthen me when tasks are difficult, and fill me with gladness when I serve in Your Name.
Holy Spirit, enhance my life with Your wisdom and power, so that everything I do may bring joy to Your heart and lead others closer to You.
