John 10:22-30
Reading
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand. (John 10:29)
Revelation
The Lord reveals to you today a truth that is both tender and unshakeable: you are securely held in His hand. His grip on your life is not weak, uncertain, or temporary. It is firm, loving, and eternal. No force—spiritual, emotional, or earthly—can pull you away from Him.
What you are waiting for, praying for, hoping for, is not forgotten. God is not delaying out of neglect but out of divine precision. His timing is never late, never early, always perfect. He is preparing the right moment, the right alignment, the right unfolding of His will.
He whispers to your heart: “Stay close. Stay still. Stay trusting. I am working behind the scenes.”
Reflection
Waiting is one of the hardest disciplines of faith. When answers seem delayed, when prayers feel suspended in the air, when nothing appears to be moving, the heart grows restless. But Jesus reminds you that waiting in His hand is not waiting in uncertainty—it is waiting in security.
You are not drifting. You are not forgotten. You are not at risk of losing what God has promised.
The Shepherd who holds you is the same Shepherd who guides you, protects you, and leads you toward the fullness of His plan.
Sometimes God delays the revelation because He is strengthening your faith. Sometimes He delays because He is aligning circumstances. Sometimes He delays because He is shaping your heart to receive what He has prepared. But always—always—His delay is filled with purpose.
Let this truth settle deeply: You are safe. You are held. You are being led toward something good.
Response
Lord Jesus, my Good Shepherd, thank You for holding me securely in Your hand. Even when I cannot see the full picture, even when the waiting feels long, I trust that Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good.
Teach my heart to rest in Your faithfulness. Calm my worries, silence my fears, and help me to wait with patience, hope, and confidence. Reveal Your will in Your perfect time, and prepare me to receive it with gratitude and obedience. Keep me close to Your heart, and let nothing ever pull me away from Your love.
Amen.
